Pastor's Heart

In these days of extreme stress and trouble, more and
more of Gods' children are wondering, "Is this what
victory looks like?"  They see the unrighteous seemingly
doing well as they struggle.  And the adversary causes
them to wonder.
I would like to paint you a picture of victory.  It might
seem that you are losing the battle, but my child,  we do not
live by sight but by faith.  We are the overcomers and we
are the first and not the last.  We are the head and not
the tail.
In the book of Matthew, Chapter 4, we find our
Saviour hungry, tired, and physically weak.  As you
read about His encounter with the devil you see a beautiful
picture of victory.  Jesus used His greatest weapon
against the enemy to defeat him.....His Word.  Child,
when it seems that you are losing,  speak confidence to
yourself and to those around you.  Let your testimony be
so strong that even our enemy cannot gainsay it.  Know
that as King David found,  this life might have its
setbacks and the ungodly might seem to be victorious,  but
when he went into the sanctuary he saw their end.  Have
you prayed until you saw your end?  Have you praised
your way through your trials?  Have you worshipped
through your heartbreak?  Then listen to this old preacher.
You are victorious.  You win!  Your treasures in
Heaven are waiting!  Rejoice,  be glad, for Jesus is
keeping you.

May GOD bless and keep you,
