The congregation at Upper Room Apostolic Church believes that prayer
can change things. Prayers are our direct line to God and He hears our
prayers and answers according to His will. If your are lost, alone, sick or
in need of help, why not take it to God? He is always waiting and
listening for us to call on Him. Reach out to Him and ask Him for the
guidance, healing or help you seek. He already knows the need, He is
just waiting for you to ask Him for help.
The Holy Bible is full of scriptures telling us we need to come to God
through prayer:
(John 14:14) If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
(James 4:10) Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.
(Colossians 4:2) Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching therein with
thanksgiving;
(Luke 18:1) He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray, and
not give up,
(Matthew 21:22) All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will
receive.
(I John 3:22) and whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his
commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.
(Philippians 4:6) In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and
petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
